Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Potty Timer handles information in its iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch apps and on this website. Potty Timer is operated by Dmitrii Evseev (“we,” “us”).
In short: Your timer runs on your devices. We do not require an account, receive your timer activity, or use advertising or third-party analytics in the app or on this website.
Information in the app
The app keeps your reminder intervals, current countdown and recent timer actions, notification and appearance choices, language, and dates used to count active trial days on your device. It also keeps whether you have unlocked unlimited access. These values let the timer resume, schedule reminders, and check access after the trial. They are not sent to our servers; the app has no account or app backend.
If you use a paired Apple Watch, the app exchanges timer state, preferences, trial and purchase access state, and watch button actions between your iPhone and watch through Apple’s WatchConnectivity. The paired devices may temporarily store this information while syncing. An iPad keeps its own local timer state and does not pair with Apple Watch.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminder notifications on your device. You can turn reminders or their sound off in the app and change notification permission in your device settings. We do not use push notification tokens or a remote notification server.
Purchases
If you choose to buy unlimited access, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. The app checks the product and verified entitlement to unlock access or restore a purchase. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles purchase and account information under its App Store privacy information.
This website
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. It does not use advertising pixels, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and requested page to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare describes its practices in its privacy policy. The interactive phone and watch preview runs in your browser and does not send your timer choices to us.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information or share timer activity with advertisers. Local app information remains on your devices until you remove the app or erase its data; your device backups may follow your Apple settings. Apple handles purchase records, and Cloudflare handles website requests, under their own practices. If you email us, we use what you send to answer your request and retain the correspondence as needed to do so.
Children
Potty Timer is intended for parents and caregivers. It does not ask for a child’s name, birth date, photo, or account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Your choices
- Change reminder, sound, language, and appearance settings in the app; manage notification permission in your device settings.
- Remove locally stored app information by deleting the app from each device where you use it. Apple may retain purchase records and device backups separately.
- Once the privacy contact email below is published, you can use it to ask about this policy or information you have sent us directly.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its effective date if our data practices change. If we add analytics, accounts, or other services, we will update the policy and the App Store privacy details before using them.
